They publish a biannual print magazine, maintain an active online platform, and produce original video content through their YouTube channel.About the RoleOur client is looking for a Virtual Assistant with a strong sense of aesthetics, excellent attention to detail, and solid organisational skills to support the editorial, digital, and operational activities of the team.Key ResponsibilitiesWebsite & Editorial Content ManagementUpload and publish editorial content on the Squarespace website.Ensure text, images, and layouts are visually cohesive and meet brand standards.Add metadata, categories, and internal links as needed.Assist in updating homepage and featured content sections.Regularly review pages to ensure consistency and fix any layout or link issues.(Prior experience with Squarespace is useful but not required — training will be provided.)Social Media & YouTube Channel ManagementSchedule and post content on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Telegram, etc.) following provided templates and tone guides.Upload videos on YouTube with proper titles, descriptions, and thumbnails.Monitor and respond to comments professionally.Coordinate video releases with the editorial and creative teams.Newsletter CoordinationAssist in preparing and scheduling newsletters.Upload visuals, format text, and ensure consistent design aesthetics.Coordinate publishing schedules with the editorial team.Test and proofread newsletters for accuracy before release.Communication & CoordinationManage general inboxes and respond or forward relevant emails.Liaise with logistics partners to arrange magazine or material shipments.Compare courier rates, track deliveries, and maintain shipping logs.Assist with scheduling and follow-ups using Notion.Data & CRM ManagementMaintain advertiser, partner, and subscriber data in Airtable.Keep records accurate, organised, and up-to-date.Assist in compiling lists for email campaigns or outreach.Administrative & Operational SupportMaintain internal trackers (content calendars, contact lists, etc.).Support with coordination tasks, vendor follow-ups, and event preparations.Conduct ad hoc online research as needed.Assist with light administrative tasks such as digital filing and invoice tracking.RequirementsMust-HavesExcellent written English and clear communication skills.High attention to detail and strong eye for design and visual balance.Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail).Familiarity with or willingness to learn Squarespace, Airtable, and newsletter platforms (e.g., Campaign Monitor).Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently once trained.Great-to-HavePrior experience in publishing, design, or communications.Basic image editing (Photoshop, Canva, or similar).Familiarity with digital publishing workflows.
