Virtualisation Architect

Our client is seeking an experienced Virtualisation Architect to join their expanding team in Dublin. The Virtualisation Architect designs, develops, and implements enterprise-level IT infrastructure, focusing on virtualization technologies to support the bank's digital transformation and cloud strategy. They’re looking for someone with experience in virtualisation platforms, cloud computing security, networking and automation tools. And with good exposure to Citrix, AVD, & Dev Box in designing and supporting and scalable virtual desktop solutions.This role requires expertise in operating systems, networking, and virtualisation, along with strong communication skills to collaborate with various teams and present technical solutions to different stakeholders where you’ll contribute to the creation of seamless digital experiences for their customers The JobYou’ll design & Implement AVD, W365 & Dev Box solutions. Develop and implement automation for scaling, image updates. Environment Optimisation: driving best security practices. Troubleshoot/ resolve issues related to AV. Configure FSlogix as profiling. Provide technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and training to support teams. Draft HLD/LLD and other project documents. Collaborate with architecture team.Experience NeededVirtualisation Architect with solid experience with VDI technologies AVD, Citrix, W365, DevBox and similar. Hands on experience in designing, and implementing AVD, W365 & Dev Box. Experience in design/build Prod and DR solutions. Experience in configuring/deploy FSLOGIX & infra in AVD. Configure Optimization & Security features on hostpools. Experience with Application modernisation with MSIX App Attach & 3rd party products.Solid experience with Azure services - AAD, AADS, RBAC, Storage/Policies/Backup, Firewall, , UDR, File share, AVD Security & Azure Monitor. Knowledge on Group Policy, Active Directory and Registry settings. Exposure to scripting and automation. Good knowledge of session host performance tuning and diagnostics.Good experience with Windows Client & Server OS, Microsoft Intune Endpoint Manager Administration & Architecture. Good knowledge on Intune Compliance /configuration policies, Defender for Endpoint, Device encryption Defender for 365 &Identity, Sentinel, Conditional Access, & integrate other MS Cloud security features.Nice to Have: Knowledge of 3rd party tools i.e. Nerdio, Hydra, Liquit. CCP, AZ140, ITIL, AZ104 Certification an advantage. Exposure to automation with DevOps, Terraform, Biceps an advantage.Permanent role.
