Job DescriptionJob Title: Visual DesignerLocation: Bay Area- hybrid schedule (mostly remote; in-office work as needed)Duration: 6 month contract with potential to extend- 20 hours/weeklyPay Rate: $55.00-$60.00/hourResponsibilities Design and create high-quality visual assets for all brand needs: social media, digital banners, brochures, emails, customer communications, style guides, and presentations. Collaborate with brand strategists to produce engaging and visually appealing videos, from concept development to final editing. Support the brand strategy team in strategy development by translating strategic insights into compelling visual narratives and creative executions. Engage in line of business discussions and proactively contribute ideas and suggestions to support growth initiatives across business units. Partner with marketing and business leads to interpret strategic briefs and translate them into design solutions that drive measurable impact. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product, sales, and customer experience—to ensure design solutions are aligned with broader organizational goals. Work closely with brand strategists to plan and create differentiating and compelling communications. Explore emerging design tools and techniques to push creative boundaries and elevate brand storytelling. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.. Have a critical eye for photography with a strong ability to edit and retouch in Photoshop.Top 3 RequirementsProficient in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects). Mastery of layout, typography, photography, and color theory and how they function as a system to communicate clearly and define a brand. Design professional with qualifications in graphic, brand, and digital design.
