Job Description

About Us: Vitality Brands is a leading provider of high-quality products dedicated to sustainability and innovation in manufacturing. We pride ourselves on delivering excellence in every aspect of our business. At Vitality Brands, we don't just sell products; we create solutions that make people feel healthier and happier. We stand as the proud makers of leading brands including essano, essano HappySkin, Cancer Council Sunscreen, epzen, Senne Skin, Dominate & Shockwaves. We have two locations of work being our HQ based in Melbourne, Australia, and our New Zealand Manufacturing Plant and Office based in Mangere. The Role:

We are looking for a hands-on, proactive Innovation Project Coordinator to support the delivery of new products. Based from our NZ Office, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, thrives in fast-moving environments, and brings a mix of project coordination skills and commercial curiosity. Reporting in to the Head of Innovation, you’ll play a vital role in the successful execution of new product development (NPD) and innovation projects — from early-stage ideas right through to launch.

Working closely with innovation, product development, marketing, operations, and external partners, you’ll help manage timelines, documentation, and workflow across multiple projects. You’ll be the person that keeps things moving, helps connect the dots, and ensures the detail doesn’t fall through the cracks — all while supporting the creation of consumer-loved products that align with our values. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and maintain project timelines and trackers to support on-time delivery of NPD and reformulation initiatives. Schedule and support project meetings, capture key actions, and drive follow-ups across teams.

Liaise with marketing, product development, operations, and external partners to ensure a smooth project flow. Manage the movement of samples, documents, and briefs between stakeholders and across development stages. Help identify risks or bottlenecks early and flag them to keep projects on track. Maintain accurate project documentation and contribute to reporting and presentations for internal updates. Recommend improvements and champion best practices for project management systems and workflows to enhance team efficiency. Skills & Experience: 3+ years experience in project coordination, product development, or innovation support roles. Exposure to FMCG, cosmetics, or health/wellness sectors is a plus.

A relevant degree in Project Management, Supply Chain, Innovation, or a related discipline. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a knack for juggling multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and the confidence to work across teams. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Working knowledge of tools like Excel, Asana, or similar project tracking systems. A genuine interest in consumer products, with creativity and commercial awareness. What We Offer: Be part of a close-knit, purpose-led team shaping the future of skincare and wellness. Work across a variety of exciting, high-impact innovation projects.

Gain exposure to the full lifecycle of product development, from concept to shelf. Enjoy opportunities for learning, growth, and career development in a growing business. A collaborative and supportive work environment. Opportunities for professional growth and development. The chance to be part of a growing company making a positive impact on health and wellness.
