Job Description Experience Required: 7-9 YearsVMware Infrastructure Operations Management: Planning & Designing VMware infrastructure along with HPE C7000 / HPE Synergy Chassis.Installation & configuration of ESXi hosts and Provide Level 2/3 technical support for VMware ESXi infrastructure, vCenter and SRM including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues.Implement and manage high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of VMware ESXi hosts, clusters, vCenter and virtual machines.Configure, deploy, and manage VMware ESXi hosts, including security patching and upgradations.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware ESXi, vSphere, and virtualization technologies.Configure Disaster recovery plans (SRM) and create multiple protection groups as per application DR requirement.Working Experience with Physical/virtual networking and storage solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and support.Develop and maintain technical documentation, including knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and configuration standards.Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support as required.Stay up to date with the latest VMware ESXi releases, updates, and best practices.Working Experience on HPE C7000 Chassis along with HPE Synergy platform.Walkthrough of all Physical ESXi servers list to make sure Hardware Failure is informed to respective vendor and if required vendor will be arranged for troubleshooting.Nutanix:Monitoring, Installations, configurations, Administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of Nutanix system.Manage Nutanix upgrade, patching and operations.Manage, install and configure Nutanix Nodes.Build and manage Nutanix cluster.Hands on experience with Prism Central deployment and Prism element registrations.Foundations of Nutanix on HPE hardware.Hands-on on Nutanix image service and SSP (self-service portal) configurations.SMTP alert configurations, VLAN creations.Nutanix Storage configurations (Storage pools, Container, Volume Group and Virtual disk creations).Hands on experience on Nutanix snapshots and restore.Nutanix protection domain configuration and management.Nutanix Files deployment and configurations.Depth knowledge of technologies like Deduplications, compression.Depth knowledge of scripting, nCLI & ACLI.Policies and Procedures:Development and implementation of detailed operational procedures required to run VMware operations in the mission critical environment.Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for VMware administrations.Operational Tasks:Day to day VMware service operations with industry standards and best practices linked to ITIL disciples such as incident, problem, change, capacity and business continuity and disaster recovery management.Provides continual improvements on operational performances, quality procedures documentation, organizational efficiency by ensuring right processes.Coordinates with effective partners VMware and HPE to run daily operation smoothly.
