Volumetric Accounting Analyst

We’re seeking a Volumetric Accounting Analyst to join one of the world’s largest oil and gas companies. In this role, you’ll manage and reconcile records for product movement across terminals, in transit, and other non-manufacturing locations.Details:Location: BudapestContract type: Temporary, 1 year-fixed term through Dexian EuropeWorkplace type: On-site (with flexibility)Key Responsibilities:Manage Records: Handle records for goods issues, receipts, write-ons/offs, rebrands, and other updates at designated stock points.Review Open Items: Regularly review and act on open items to keep records accurate and current.Monthly Close Process: Complete month-end tasks for assigned areas.Reconcile Stock Points: Reconcile designated stock locations on a monthly basis.Improve Processes: Get involved in projects to make processes better and more efficient.Collaborate: Work with traders and schedulers to understand various business scenarios.Ensure Compliance: Follow established work processes and controls, such as System of Management Control (SMC), Management Protection of Information (MPI), System and Business Control Catalogue, Record Retention, Delegation of Authority, and other guidelines.Required Skills and Qualifications:Technical SkillsBasic Accounting: Strong understanding of financial and volumetric accounting fundamentals.Data Analytics: Skills in generating insights from data to support decisions.Process Management: Ability to help improve and streamline processes.Systems Management: Comfortable working with relevant business systems and tools.Business Sense: Basic understanding of business operations and priorities.Additional ExperienceBackground in audit, BSC, business support, finance, or customer-facing roles is a plus.Bachelor’s degree.Fluent English, written and spoken.Soft SkillsSelf-Starter: Shows initiative and is proactive in handling tasks.Analytical: Comfortable working with numbers and data.Creative Problem Solver: Thinks outside the box to find innovative solutions.Good Communicator: Clear and effective in sharing ideas and information.Note: Employment is carried out through labor leasing, under a Temporary Agency Worker contract.
