Our main activities are to identify, recognize and award community initiatives that address basic needs and collaborate with nature. By doing this, we give a voice to otherwise unknown and unheard heroes. We are looking for 3-4 Corporate Sponsorship Managers. As a Corporate Sponsorship Manager, you will be part of a team developing sponsorship strategies, building long-term relationships, creating compelling partnership proposals to support WAFA’s mission and work closely with international colleagues! You will be a key contributor in raising funds to support our Mission. You will have exposure to the leadership team and work together with experienced experts. You will be able to add your own skills while being part of a truly impact-making journey. If you are passionate about the environment and if you want to bring in your fundraising skills to help elevate WAFA to the next level, then we have a spot for you!Your responsibilities:Identify potential sponsors aligned with WAFA’s mission, build and maintain a healthy portfolio of said sponsors.Write compelling proposals tailored to the interests of potential sponsors and with a specific highlight of WAFA’s work with the Awards event.Negotiate sponsorship packages and agreements to maximize funding and value for the Award events and WAFA as a whole.Participate in several fundraising activities such as fundraiser drives to promote community involvement and contribution to WAFA’s mission.Represent WAFA at major corporate and Sponsorship events, build and maintain sponsorship relationshipsSupport the fundraising, and Impact services teams with integrated partnership strategiesTrack and report on fundraising progress, including funds raised, and sponsor engagement. We expect you to:Have a strong Professional networkStrong relationship building and ability to persuade and inspireExcel in project management, prioritizing tasks to achieve fundraising targets and managing multiple projects and deadlinesFamiliar with the Danish culture and business community (nice to have)Strong communication skillsCapability to build collaborative relationships and network with relevant personsExperience in presenting to different types of sponsors through creating compelling narrativesHighly developed, engaging and professional written and verbal communication skills across diverse stakeholdersKnowledge of best practices in Fundraising, Corporate sponsorships Fluent in spoken and written EnglishYou have an availability of 3-4 hours per weekIt goes without saying that you enjoy working with people and are a team player, and that you are self-driven and well-organized.You will be working remotely and require access to a computer with fast internet connection.
