Teenagers Center for Awakening is a Refugee- Led Community- Based Organization(CBO) operating in Kakuma Refugee Camp and Turkana West, Kenya. We are proudly verified on Benevity and YourCause, yet we need skilled allies to help us connect with companies and employees who can donate through these platforms.Your missionAs a Strategic Corporate Giving Researcher, you’ll help us identify and engage companies and employees who can support TCA Kakuma through workplace giving platforms. Your work will directly contribute to unlocking vital resources for our programs.Key ResponsibilitiesResearch companies and nonprofits listed on Benevity, YourCause, and Benevity partner platformsIdentify companies with employee giving, matching, or volunteer grant programs aligned with our missionCompile contact details for CSR teams, employee resource groups, or internal championsDraft or adapt outreach messages Track outreach progress and flag promising leadsIdeal volunteer profileWe’re looking for volunteers with proven experience in one or more of the followingNavigating Benevity, YourCause, or similar CSR platformsCorporate social responsibility (CSR), workplace giving, or nonprofit fundraisingStrategic research using LinkedIn, CSR reports, and donor databasesWriting compelling outreach messages for corporate audiencesFamiliarity with Google Sheets, Docs, and collaborative toolsPassion for refugee empowerment, youth development, or grassroots innovationWhat You Will GainA chance to directly support refugee-led impact and youth empowermentRecognition on our website and social mediaA letter of recommendation for outstanding contributorsA collaborative, appreciative team that values your expertise
