As part of the broader Plant Logistics function, this team is responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing end-to-end logistics solutions that support the production of our next-generation, fully electric vehicles.
Working at the heart of the VCK project, the team combines strategic thinking with hands-on engineering to ensure seamless material flows, efficient packaging systems, and digitally enabled logistics operations. From early project phases to full-scale production, our engineers collaborate across departments to align logistics with manufacturing needs—always with a focus on lean principles, innovation, and operational excellence. What You'll DoWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Logistic Engineer to optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will design and implement efficient systems for the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods.
This role involves data analysis, process improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for early involvement of project research and provide professional solution. Drive and implement packaging improvements according to Volvo Cars Manufacturing System (VCMS) and Line back Principles. Engineer and optimize the material flow and information flow from end to end. Logistic space, tooling, equipment, industrial vehicle, manning calculate. Logistic operation route and resource design, engineer, include new project program launch. Logistic function area layout design, with less driven distance and less touch in the process.
Material façade module and pull system design and engineer, capacity balance, production, and supply chain flow balance. Build the standard of logistic operation include physical flow process and information flow process. Delivery based on standard logistic flow set up. Build up logistic digital system operation and deviation handle.
