VP Risk Manager

Coopman Search and Selection are delighted to partner with a leading aircraft lessor in their search for a Risk Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced aviation risk professional to contribute to a dynamic, global organisation and play a key role in managing credit, portfolio, and transactional risk across key markets.Key Responsibilities:Support deal teams in structuring transactions to optimise risk-adjusted returnsMonitor and assess the creditworthiness of customers across Europe & AfricaConduct annual credit reviews and assign/update credit gradesEvaluate new client credit profiles and provide risk insights for transactionsIdentify high-risk exposures and lead mitigation or collection actionsPrepare credit memos, approval papers, and reports for internal stakeholdersAssist with data analysis to support portfolio decision-makingCore Competencies:3+ years’ experience in aviation/aircraft leasing risk or credit analysisStrong analytical and financial understanding of airlines and lessorsDegree in finance, accounting, engineering, or similarDetail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environmentPython/SQL skills or willingness to learnInterest in technology and innovation in aviation financeFluent English; occasional travel requiredIf you’re Passionate about moving into the Aircraft Leasing sector and thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact role, we’d love to hear from you.
