The VP Sales - Engines, Mercury EMEA is responsible to lead the long-term commercial strategy and execution for Mercury Marine’s Finished Products across the EMEA region. This role is pivotal in shaping the strategic direction of the channel strategy, driving sustainable growth, and contributing to the broader vision and leadership of Mercury EMEA .Main AccountabilitiesServe as a core member of the Brunswick EMEA Senior Leadership Team, actively contributing to the development and execution of long-range business strategies and regional prioritiesDesign and execute a strategic commercial roadmap for dealers, distributors and OEM channels. aligning with Mercury Marine’s global objectives and evolving markets dynamics.Foster a high-performance culture rooted in innovation, accountability and leadership development, with a strong focus on talents development and on succession planning.Lead and mentor Country Managers and Distributors’ Manager to expand market presence, optimize channel performance, and drive profitable growth across all product lines. Oversee the creation and execution of annual regional business plans, ensuring alignment with revenue, margin, and operational efficiency targets. Identify and capitalize on commercial growth opportunities in collaboration with Country Managers and Distributors’ Manager to increase market penetration and sales Monitor competitive activity and translate market intelligence and competitive insights into actionable strategies that enhance market share, customer value, and brand positioning. Champion Brunswick’s ethics, safety, quality and sustainability programs, ensuring alignment with corporate values and compliance standards. Experience in the marine industry is an assetProven track record in customer-facing roles with a strong focus on enhancing customer experience.Expertise in dealer/distributor/OEM network development and management.Knowledge, Skill And AbilitiesAbility to develop sound and distinctive strategies to achieve competitive advantage and to translate broad strategies into specific objectives and action plans; ability to align the broader organization to support strategic prioritiesProven leadership ability to structure and growth a team in a multicultural environment, with excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. English at an advanced level. Any other European language is an assetStrong Business Acumen and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to craft compelling business cases and advanced negotiation skillsStrong organizational skills to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously, ability to multi-task in a high paced environment and manage a large amount of complex dataBusiness Planning, Continuous Improvement and Strategic planning processes skillsKnowledge of the boating industryComputer literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Availability for business travelOur OfferThis exciting opportunity is classified as Global Grade 17 (Willis Tower Watson grading methodology), with a salary range between €170,000 and €210,000, paid in 13.92 instalments. Please note that this range applies to all roles within this grade.
