Asset Integrity Engineer - TrinidadWe are looking for an Asset Integrity Engineer to join our Asset Management Consulting team based in Trinidad. Our team helps clients operate their assets safely and cost-effectively, using a risk-based approach to integrity and maintenance planning. We work across the oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, renewables, and power generation industries. This role is ideal if you have diverse technical expertise in integrity assessments and can provide specialist advice and solutions to both internal and external clients. It also offers a clear pathway to more senior project management opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, and manage pressure systems integrity programs at client sites. Perform or manage engineering studies such as Fitness For Service Assessments, Pipe Stress Analysis, Repair Plans, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Apply your experience in RBI (Risk-Based Inspection) programs and other mechanical integrity initiatives. Use APM systems (GE APM, PCMS, Meridium, RBMI, AllAssets, etc. ) to develop and maintain RBI and MI programs with other engineers. Facilitate data collection, organization, and implementation. Provide technical assessments, advice, solutions, and training to clients. Ensure activities comply with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.
Visit client sites for inspection reviews and data collection as needed. Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. Provide technical guidance and share knowledge to build internal capability. Scope, estimate, and manage project deliverables in line with client and contractual requirements. Present deliverables to clients and recommend alternative solutions when appropriate. Contribute to client relationship management and act as a key point of contact. Support business development activities, including sharing contacts, helping prepare proposals, and participating in conferences. What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or a related engineering discipline.
5-8 years of relevant experience, with a strong understanding of asset integrity requirements. Practical knowledge of mechanical integrity software (GE APM, PCMS, AllAssets). Experience with RBI programs and knowledge of Fitness For Service processes. Familiarity with NDT techniques and pressure systems inspection. One or more API certifications (e. g. , 580, 510, 570, 653) preferred. Understanding of industry standards (National Board, PCC-2, API 510). Experience with P&IDs, PFDs, HMBs, and inspection isometrics. Knowledge of CAD and FEA software is an advantage. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Effective communication and organizational skills.
