About The Role & ProgramThe Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS) Marketing & Franchise team serves as the global ambassadors of WDAS storytelling, championing the characters and worlds with cross company partners, in close partnership with the filmmakers. Through strategic collaboration, creative excellence, and unwavering integrity, this team supports the successful launch and drives the long-term sustainment of WDAS film marketing projects and consumer products programs. They play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of WDAS franchises, ensuring their resonance with audiences and partners worldwide, from initial release through enduring legacy.What You Will DoManage various projects tied to WDAS’ participation at the D23: Ultimate Fan Event in Anaheim, CA (August 14-16, 2026). The intern must be available to travel to Anaheim for this event.Assist in coordinating and tracking other marketing projects related to the upcoming WDAS film slate, including updating internal documents, assisting with timelines, and helping facilitate clear communication across teams to ensure smooth execution.Attend weekly team meetings, partner meetings and other relevant eventsRequired Qualifications & SkillsProficient in Google Docs, Google Drive, Word, Excel, and KeynoteAbility to multi-task and work proactively in a fast-paced work environmentGreat attitude and team playerStrong interest in Marketing in the Entertainment/Movie IndustryCommunicates ideas effectivelyPreferred Qualifications & SkillsPrevious internship and/or work Experience in related industryPassion for Marketing and DisneyEducationJunior or Senior year preferredEligibility Requirements & Program InformationBe enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Be at least 18 years of agePossess unrestricted work authorizationHave not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College ProgramAdditional InformationApproximate internship dates: June 1, 2026 – August 2026Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internshipFully available, 9am – 6 pm PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each weekAble to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA areaAble to provide/have reliable transportation to/from workThe pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
