Play a Vital Role in the Patient Experience at PA Hospital Join the Urology Transplant Administration team at Princess Alexandra Hospital as a Ward Administrator. In this permanent part-time role (PM shifts Mon–Fri, 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm), you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, families and staff, keeping ward operations running smoothly and ensuring an exceptional level of administrative and customer service support.Your New RoleAs the Ward Administrator (Ward 4A), you will play a vital role in supporting patient care and ward operations within the Urology Transplant Unit. You'll provide professional front-of-house, administrative and clerical assistance to ensure the ward functions efficiently and delivers a positive experience for all patients and visitors.You WillProvide high-quality reception and customer-service support to patients, families and staff.Coordinate admissions, discharges and transfers, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.Process Patient Election Forms (PEFs) and verify patient information for billing and admission accuracy.Assist with patient flow by liaising with multidisciplinary teams and arranging transport and appointments.Manage incoming calls, emails and enquiries, ensuring prompt and courteous responses.Support the Nurse Unit Manager and wider team through effective communication and administrative coordination.Uphold Metro South Health values and contribute to a safe, inclusive and patient-centred workplace.
