Clarke Energy’s ethos is one of aftersales support, delivering high levels of equipment availability through the development of a strong local service presence with in-country parts supply.Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an Engineer to join our team in Greece. The successful candidate will be trained by the company to undertake the position of Warehouse and Service Operations Assistant, responsible for managing the warehouse, receiving & shipping spare parts, supporting the Service Sales dept. with Field Service billing and with customers’ service requests.ResponsibilitiesWAREHOUSE MANAGEMENTManaging spare parts in CEH warehouse, inventory keepingReceiving & storing parts at CEH warehouseControlling of spare parts (part numbers & quantity) that come in our stock (monitoring incoming parts for defects at receipt, crosschecking of correct receipt against suppliers’ packing list)SPARE PARTS MANAGEMENTShipping parts & tooling from CEH warehouse (incl. occasional transfer of parts to designated locations in Athens, with company van)Support with generating Packing lists for Spare part shipments from CEH warehouseMonitoring of correct delivery to customer siteSupporting spare part return process (RMA)Support with Spare parts order planning based on stock level targetsSUPPORTING SERVICE SALES DEPARTMENTTechnical support (warranty claims - in collaboration with Service dept., parts identification based on SBoM, etc.)Support with Warranty cases monitoring and updatesCollecting Field Service Engineers’ labour log sheets and expensesWarehouse reportingSupport with monthly service sales reportsAs and when required, provide technical support to other internal functions.Technical/Professional Knowledge And SkillsDegree in Technical Engineering (T.E.I.), preferably mechanical or electrical biasData analysisReport writingInventory/warehouse ManagementGood Excel and Microsoft Office skillsPersonal Attributes/skillsGood relationship management skills – able to build and maintain positive relationshipsGood communication skills – can convey messages in terms others understandGood physical condition – can safely move spare parts & tools in & out of the warehouseKind, open and positive characterFocused and resolute – Will always prioritise the company’s best interestGood organisational skills and good attention to detailAvailable to travel freely, sometimes abroad, at short noticeTakes responsibility for own workloadResults orientatedEssentialRecruitment and succession requirementsTechnical engineering qualification(s), preferably mechanical or electrical biasMinimum 2-3 Years Of Similar Work ExperienceGood analytical skillsGood standard computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)Good English verbal and writing skillsDriving licence, category BDesirableBachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringExperience in a similar role where problem solving, technical interpretation and report writing are requiredGood customer relationship experienceExcellent standard IT Skills (Microsoft Power BI, NAVISION, SAP, etc.)BenefitsOpportunity for professional growth and advancement.Work with a dynamic and highly motivated team.Be a part of a leading power generation company with presence in more than 27 countries in the world.If you are interested in this exciting opportunity to join our team, please submit your CV and cover letter.
