Warehouse Associate - B1 Night Shift

The Jonestown Distribution Center, a 218,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility operating 24/7; is currently seeking full time general warehouse workers to join our team.Warehouse Associate / GraderShifts Available: Alternating 3 day or 4 day work weeks, which is equivalent to working approx. 15 days per monthNight Shift Hours: 6:00 PM - 5:30 AM rotational ShiftPrimary ResponsibilitiesPhysically inspect tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers grown in our greenhouse farms.Maintain product quality standards that meet product specificationsAssist in packaging/washing set up, as needed, to ensure smooth flow of product.Prompt stacking and rebuilding of product pallets / boxes.Identify and escalate any pallets that visibly do not meet Mastronardi Specifications (crushed, leaning, damaged, or any visible product that appears to not meet Food Safety standards).Report and assist team members and supervisors with any issues that may be observed on the assigned department such as; Good Manufactured Procedures (GMP’s), food safety, or unsafe product staging concerns.This position requires flexibility to work in various assigned work areas.Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities RequiredMust be at least 18 years oldAbility to work in our refrigerated warehouse, 50-degree controlled temperature zonesHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Related work experience in food production an asset.Previous warehouse experience preferredMust be a high-performance team player and be willing to work in a dynamic, growing, demanding and fast-paced environment.Available to work flexible hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays may be required).Willingness to maintain confidentiality and protect proprietary information.Willingness to work independently, with minimal supervision and take ownership of job.Willingness to be responsible for company property.Complete a background check.Working ConditionsRefrigerated warehouse environmentMust be able to lift up to 30 lbs. with or without accommodationPosition requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, and crawling on a regular basisWe Are Pleased To Offer The Following BenefitsPaid weeklyMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance401KPaid time off and holiday payEmployee Engagement & Recognition ProgramsOpportunities for growth and advancementMastronardi Produce has accommodation processes and policies in place and provides accommodation for employees with disabilities.
