Job DescriptionThe warehouse clerk is responsible for coordinate and processing import and exports cargo ensuring compliance with customs, government regulations and company procedures. Works closely with freight forwarder, customs broker, sourcing and finance team to handles in/out documentation including freight invoice reviews, monitor shipments and support a smooth, on time and in compliance flow of materials and machinery.Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the clearance process for government-regulated imports and exports cargo movements with fully compliance with all customs, regulatory, and documentation requirements Prepare, review and submit import/export documentation (as commercial invoice, packing list, export declaration or Bill of landing) to relevant authorities Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarder and government agencies to ensure timely and accurate clearance of shipments Monitor the status of imports and proactively resolve any delays or issues during the clearance process Match freight invoices with purchases orders account and materials owner’s Assist in planning and coordinating miscellaneous incoming and outgoing shipments including local deliveries and inter-company transfer Ensure accurate record-keeping of shipments and maintain internal databases for tracking and compliance internal or external audits for inbound and outbound of merchandise Support other departments with logistical and local procedures related to shipments and inventory. Good knowledge on clerical functions and activities relates to imports/export cargo movements. Preferred experience in a warehouse / Logistics role in a manufacturing environment Some experience with import cargo clearance, exports documentations for domestic and international shipments Knowledge on Microsoft Office programs as Word and Excel.
