In the morning at 05:45 you are present at work, you get all your stuff out of your locker and have a cup of coffee or tea with your colleagues. At 06:00 there is a daystart. In the daystart, they tell you all the special things of that day, how many carts there are and what the ending time will be. Then you go to work, together with your colleagues.What does working as a warehouse employee at Royal FloraHolland involve?You drive around on an electric truck. With this electric truck, you take a flower cart from the compartment and make sure that it connects to your headphone. Once this has happened, you will receive instructions through the headphone about where to take the flowers. Your headphone will send you from location to location. At each location, you transfer a certain number of cans. Once you have done this, you go to the next location. Is your cart empty? Then you take a new cart. You do this, together with your colleagues, until all the carts have been distributed.Because no day is the same for a warehouse employee at Royal FloraHolland, the ending time is different every day. This is often between 10:00 and 12:00.
