The OpportunityWe’re seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager who thrives in a high compliance environment. Your role will be key in ensuring seamless product movement and supporting our dynamic operations. You’ll need to be resilient, a great communicator, and comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels of the business, and eager to support the team and willing to learn and adapt to new challenges!About the roleParagon Care distribution services move over 50,000 pharmaceutical, medical consumable, equipment and food products through our national network of state-based distribution centres.Our Keysborough warehouse services the Melbourne metropolitan area, Regional Victoria, as well as Interstate and remote country locations daily. This is a high volume, high pace environment in the midst of a large organizational change. In addition to the ordinary warehouse operations activities, this role will have a regular positive interactions with the employee union, manage grievances, review current work practices and review operating costs. Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate warehouse activities to ensure the timely receival and availability of products across mixed carton, full pallet and container deliveries.Proactively identify and escalate opportunities to improve the inbound operations.Quickly escalate any issues that may impact operations.Ensure information is accurate and provided timely.Maintain strict adherence to the Code of Good Warehousing Practice (GWP).Continuous ImprovementIdentify and drive process improvement opportunities across the receiving and put-away operations using established methodologies.Recommend and implement initiatives to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and cut costs by simplifying processes.Facilitate change management projects from concept through to successful delivery.Promote a culture of continuous improvement by collaborating with and coaching key stakeholders.Develop and recommend solutions to overcome operational constraints and performance challenges.About YouProven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environmentStrong leadership skills with a track record of effective staff managementProficient in managing workloads and timeCompetent user of Microsoft Office applicationsWhat’s in it for You?Join a supportive and collaborative team environment that promotes work-life balance, gain valuable experience with an industry leader, make a real impact in healthcare, and develop your supply chain and logistics skills while advancing your career and diversifying your expertise across Paragon Care!We're not engaging any recruitment agencies for this role, so if you're interested.
