This role is pivotal to ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and delivery of goods, while fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesEnsure a safe and compliant work environment by implementing and maintaining robust safety standards.Oversee all aspects of day shift operations, including inventory accuracy, stock flow, and order fulfilment.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize processes.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met or exceeded, taking corrective action as needed.Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team, fostering engagement and collaboration across the distribution centre.Build strong working relationships across departments to align operations with broader business objectives.Skills & ExperienceAt least 5 years in warehouse, DC management/ leadership role.Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.A proven track record of implementing process improvements and achieving cost efficiencies.Exceptional people management skills, with the ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams.Strong knowledge of safety regulations and experience fostering a safe working environment.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Benefits and PerksLead operations in a modern, high-performing distribution centre.Be part of a forward-thinking organisation with opportunities for growth and development.Enjoy a collaborative workplace culture that values innovation and teamwork.Competitive salary package and additional employee benefits.Next StepsReady to make an impact in a leadership role?
