Warehouse Operator - Distribution Centre Competitive Pay Rate On going personal developmentAbout This OpportunityLactalis Australia is seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse operator at our Lidcombe Distribution Centre. The shifts available: Afternoon shift 14:00-22:00. This role is critical in ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality service delivery across our supply chain network.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee shift operations, dispatch schedules, and SAP WMS transactionsManage vehicle loading/unloading and ensure dispatch accuracyPromote “Right First Time” and “On Time In Full” service standardsLead a high-performing team, allocate duties, and support training and developmentMaintain compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental policiesMonitor KPIs, maintain shift records, and support continuous improvementCommunicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding stock, delays, and documentationPlan and allocate loads, manage capacity, and reconcile delivery paperworkPerform administrative tasks including driver inductions, internal orders, and document controlHealth, Safety & Environment AccountabilitiesPromote a zero-injury culture and safe work practicesReport and investigate incidents and near missesSupport sustainability initiatives and comply with environmental regulationsLeadership AccountabilitiesSet clear expectations and lead by exampleProvide constructive feedback and recognise team achievementsDrive accountability, engagement, and open communicationQualifications & SkillsCertificate or diploma in logistics, supply chain, or administration (preferred)Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAdvanced SAP WMS and Microsoft Office proficiencyCustomer-focused with a commitment to safety and complianceKnowledge of MHE & equipment management.Proficient in writing Standard Operating Procedures/ Safety operating procedures and work instructionsForklift licence preferred but not essentialOur Values: Ambition, Engagement, SimplicityCore Competencies: Performance, Continuous Improvement, People Development, Accountability, Tenacity, Pragmatism, TransparencyIf you’re ready to lead with purpose and contribute to a dynamic supply chain team, apply now to join Lactalis Australia.
