This position is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesReceiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stockMaintaining clear records on all inventory and stockInspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damagesOrganizing the warehouse spacePreparing orders for shipmentOperating stock management tools; for example, a forklift, pallet jackCounting stock and keeping inventory recordsAny other duties as assignedSkills And QualificationsBasic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in warehouseThorough understanding of warehouse policies and proceduresExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skillsHard workingDrug Screening will be REQUIREDPhysical RequirementsMust be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.Must be able to work night shift.Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.Education And/Or TrainingHigh School diploma or equivalent required1+ years of warehouse experienceA forklift driver’s certification is preferredWork Conditions(The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
