Job DescriptionWarehouse Operations Management: Oversee the daily warehouses operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials. Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in warehouse operations. Ensure inventory accuracy by coordinating regular stock counts and audits. Optimize space utilization and ensure the warehouse is organized according to best practices. Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing overstock and obsolescence. Implement inventory control measures to prevent shortages, excess stock, and stock discrepancies. Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and improve operational efficiency. Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and manage warehouse staff, including training, performance management and career development. Establish work schedules, assign tasks and ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols. Foster a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. Compliance and Safety: Ensure the warehouse complies with company policies, health and safety regulations, and other legal requirements. Implement safety programs and procedures to protect employees and reduce workplace accidents. Conduct regular safety audits and ensure that equipment is properly maintained. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels and key metrics.
Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies and areas for improvement in warehouse operations. Work closely with procurement, production and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations across the supply chain. Budgeting and Cost Control: Assist in developing and managing the warehouse budget, including labor, equipment, and operational expenses. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Monitor expenses to ensure operations are within the approved budget. Job RequirementsPrevious experience is a must – seven years in the same field. BSc/BA in business administration, logistics, supply chain or relevant field. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports. An analytical mind with strong math skills. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Very Good command of both written and spoken English. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Working knowledge of inventory management software. Microsoft Office Computer Skills. Excellent communication skills. Preferable commercial or mathematical background.
