It believes in empowering women, youth, and individuals with physical and mental disabilities to actively contribute to their communities and develop sustainable solutions for a brighter future.Takaful Al Sham places great value on teamwork and continuous learning, striving to create an ideal work environment and encouraging employees to continuously improve their skills.All staff are expected to uphold professional behavior and comply with Takaful Al Sham’s policies and procedures, as well as adhere to humanitarian and relief standards and principles.Job SummaryThe Project Manager will oversee the implementation of WASH and shelter activities, follow up on construction tasks, ensure project activities are implemented according to the work plan and with the required quality, assign and monitor project staff tasks, produce necessary reports, and support the WASH and Shelter Program as needed.Key Responsibilities And TasksMonitor the implementation of projects in the field.Develop comprehensive implementation plans for the project.Identify technical requirements for field staff and participate in interviewing and selecting field team members.Prepare/participate with the Program Manager in developing relevant daily tracking tools to follow up on project activities with the Syria-based team.Manage the daily operations of the field team in Syria to ensure appropriate task assignment and timely completion with accuracy and transparency.Ensure that reports and data from field staff are received and reviewed.Report any delays or issues to the Program Manager and provide necessary suggestions to address project implementation gaps or change requests.Maintain all project records, reports, and documents securely.Review all project-related reports (finance, logistics, HR, etc.) before submission to any external party.Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for the project and submit them to the Program Manager.Manage communications with donors and relevant stakeholders for the project.Support the drafting of project proposals as needed.Use program management tools to monitor project implementation (timeliness, budget, scope), supervise data collection, and report preparation at the field level.Attend all project-related meetings (clusters, coordination, finance, program, etc.) and present to sectors and donors as needed.Provide technical support during the design and implementation phases to the project team and organization.Collaborate closely with logistics, finance, and media teams on related matters.Send regular updates and share information with stakeholders.Ensure adherence to accountability and protection procedures and report any observations.Respect and implement all safeguarding principles, including protection from sexual exploitation and abuse, and report any incidents.Comply with all Takaful Al Sham policies and administrative and disciplinary procedures in case of any violations.Commit to Takaful Al Sham’s zero-tolerance policy regarding sexual exploitation and abuse and report any related violations immediately.Adhere to the organization's code of conduct and policies related to child safeguarding, PSEA, social justice, and respect.Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor within the scope of the job.Required Qualifications And ExperienceBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (Environmental Engineering, Sanitation, Architecture, etc.).Minimum 3 years of experience in the humanitarian field, including work in WASH and Shelter projects.Good command of English (writing, reading, speaking).Strong knowledge of the project cycle, reporting (periodic and progress reports), budgeting, and operational planning.Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office 365 – especially Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Outlook).Ability to work collaboratively, guide, coordinate, and initiate project development.Strong communication and representation skills (both oral and written).High proficiency in negotiation, persuasion, planning, and organization skills.How to applyhttps://docs.google.com/forms/d/1l3Li4SibE4tmHCZ5fFzUOMqAjoJyS2EkZSvixfs5_CU/editJob detailsCountrySyrian Arab RepublicSourceTakaful Al Sham Charity OrganizationTypeJobCareer categoryProgram/Project ManagementYears of experience3-4 yearsThemesShelter and Non-Food ItemsWater Sanitation HygieneShare Share this on Facebook Share this on X Post this on LinkedIn
