WASH BAY ATTENDANT/ SHOP HELPERTRAXX Coachlines is looking for a full-time Wash Bay Attendant & Shop Helper in Williams Lake to join our Maintenance Team. This is a blended role where you will support our mechanics with fleet maintenance while also ensuring our motor coaches and buses meet TRAXX's high cleanliness and safety standards.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is motivated, hardworking, and eager to build a career in the transportation industry.Key ResponsibilitiesCleaning and assisting mechanics in their day-to-day dutiesAssist Heavy Duty and Red Seal Mechanics with diagnosing and addressing issues with motor coaches and busesPerform minor repairs, routine servicing, and safety checks on the fleetMaintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environmentWash, clean, and sanitize the interior and exterior of motor coaches and buses using our indoor bus washing machine and facilityClean guest and driver touchpoints: washrooms, floors, seats, windows, surfaces, and railingsRemove garbage, graffiti, gum, and markings from vehiclesInspect vehicles for cleanliness and readiness before serviceMaintain the wash bay area and assist with shop tidyingABOUT YOUSelf-motivated, safety-oriented, and detail-focusedAble to meet the physical demands of indoor and outdoor work in all seasonsEnjoys hands-on, team-based work and takes pride in high standards of cleanliness and safetyInterested in learning the trade and growing into a mechanic apprenticeshipQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEClass 5 driver's license with clean driving abstract (required)Air Brakes certification (asset)Ability to get to and from work independentlyCompletion of a heavy-duty mechanic foundations course (preferred but not required)Experience in general labour, cleaning, automotive, or mechanical work.Knowledge of cleaning supplies, tools, and safety practices (asset)High School Diploma or GEDWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?RoleAt TRAXX, we are in the people business.
