Join our dedicated team in Kalundborg, where you will contribute to managing one of the most advanced waste water facilities while helping secure compliance and supporting continuous improvement projects.Welcome to Environmental OperationsAt Environmental Operations, we play a key role in treating the waste water and biomass produced by Novonesis and Novo Nordisk. Our goal is to ensure that production runs seamlessly while meeting all environmental regulations for waste water. Our state-of-the-art waste water facility is one of the largest and most advanced of its kind, and we are currently undergoing a significant expansion—maintaining operations while upgrading the plant. With a team of 50 skilled professionals, including process operators, technicians, engineers, and support staff, we work together to ensure our processes align with the highest standards, taking pride in delivering exceptional results.In this role you’ll make an impact…By taking process responsibility for parts of the waste water facility, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth and compliant operations. Your expertise will help identify and troubleshoot any system inefficiencies while driving ongoing process optimization and acting as a user manager during investment projects.Moreover, you will collaborate with factories to manage abnormal waste fractions and develop strategies for handling them effectively. You will also maintain and improve control systems within the plant, contributing directly to the success of our day-to-day activities and long-term goals.in addition, some of your key tasks will include:Ensuring compliance with regulations for waste water and biomass leaving the siteTroubleshooting and solving process-related challengesOptimizing existing processes to enhance performanceServing as a process owner in investment projectsEngaging in dialogue across departments to handle unique waste typesYou will work closely with technicians and operators to manage both current operations and future developments. Additionally, you will collaborate with project managers, programmers, and maintenance teams to align efforts during investment and technology improvement projects.To Succeed You Must HoldA degree in Biochemical Engineering or a similar field.Experience in waste water treatment, process engineering, or project leadership.Proficiency in either Danish or English (preferably both).Strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.An analytical mindset and the ability to manage large data sets.additionally, we expect you to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining a curious and open approach to problem-solving. Your personal drive will help motivate others, and you will thrive in an environment where adaptability to change is key.We are looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, values teamwork, and understands the importance of clear communication.
