You’ll be able to apply our powerful global network of skills and decades of experience to create positive water outcomes that respect nature and nurture communitiesThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Water Engineer to join our national water teamin Hamilton or New Plymouth.The role:Core function includes investigation, design and implementation of a range of projects involving stormwater, water supply, wastewater, transport and multidisciplinary projects.Develop good business relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure required project outcomes are met and client satisfaction is maintained at a high standard. Preparation of high-quality reports, correspondence and other deliverables, as required.Perform office and site-based roles, including working with virtual teams across GHD offices nationally and internationally.Provide guidance to graduate design engineers on projects and be able to train and mentor them.About you:A relevant university degree in Civil engineering with at least 5+ year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Knowledge and understanding of industry design standards and guidelinesWorking knowledge of public and private sectorExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written)Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel and WordDesign software skills (i.e., 12D, Civil3D, ACAD, GIS)Ability to nurture and develop teamwork within the groupOrganised in multitasking of self and others and able to meet deadlinesAbility to be proactive and take ownership of projectsSelf-motivated and energetic Flexible in your approach to challengesClick ‘Apply’ to submit your CV or reach out to Zen Chua ( zen.chua@ghd.com ) for more information.Visit our GHD New Zealand Water page to explore our work, projects, and opportunities in the water sector.Ki GHD, ka ākina te kaimahi e mātou kia tutuki ōna ake moemoeā.
