$2,500 Sign-on Bonus Weekly PayJob SummaryGreiner Industries is seeking a skilled Water Jet Operator who is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining water cutting equipment (Wardjet) in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to produce high-quality fabricated parts according to specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate water cutting machines as per daily specifications.Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines.Maintain a productive workflow to meet production goals.Accurately record work activity on routing and material sheets when required.Safely and efficiently operate tow motors and overhead cranes.Identify and report any issues, including quality concerns or non-conforming material reports (NCMRs), to the Department Lead, Supervisor, and Quality team.Minimum EducationHigh SchoolMinimum Years Of Experience0-2Specific QualificationsRequired Skills & AbilitiesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, shop orders, and written instructions.Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality standards.Proficiency in working with fractions and decimals.Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.Skilled in using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent.1+ years experience in a production environment.Training in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Global Harmonization System (GHS), and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures. (Onsite training available.)Tow Motor and Overhead Crane Certification.
