About The RoleOur clients Invercargill Water team is seeking a Water Serviceperson to support the maintenance and repair of water and wastewater reticulation networks across Southland. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a positive attitude, practical skills, and a willingness to learn within a supportive and growing crew.Duties Repair leaks and replace tobies Excavate and lay pipework safely Operate small plant and hand tools Reinstate roads and footpaths post-works Complete field data and job documentationSkills & Experience Civil, plumbing or drainlaying background Class 1 licence essential (Class 2 & WTR advantageous) Basic traffic management understanding Reliable, motivated and safety-conscious Willingness to learn and work in all weather conditionsCulturePeople enjoy working in this team because it’s hands-on, collaborative and focused on doing the job right.
