Inverell, New South WalesFull-timeDescriptionApplications are invited for the position of Water Tanker Operator, based at Council's Inverell Works Centre. The Water Tanker Operator is responsible for the satisfactory application of water to road works by tanker.Fitness Passport, providing access to participating facilities including Inverell Aquatic Centre and local gyms as well as participating facilities around Australia;Salary packaging options, including Remote Area Benefits and novated vehicle leasing;Flexible Work Arrangements;Employee Assistance Program; andGenerous Leave Provisions - including access to Long Service Leave after 5 years' continuous service!For more information about Inverell Shire Council and the Water Tanker Operator position please click here to access the Position Profile.Essential CriteriaApplicants should address the following Selection Criteria:NSW School Certificate/ Record of School Achievement or equivalent;Satisfactory formal training in truck operations, or suitable experience; NSW Class HR Drivers Licence;Traffic Controller Certificate;SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card (‘White Card’); andWork Safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker unit of competency.Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Local Government (State) Award 2023. The classification for the position will be up to Operational Band 1, Level 3, Grade 4. Salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience, and will be in a range from $1,075.30 to $1,148.19 gross per week.
