Job Description How you’ll make a difference Join AECOM as a Water Team Lead in Christchurch, where you’ll oversee a diverse portfolio of projects across stormwater, water, and treatment infrastructure projects while guiding a high-performing team. You’ll bring a proactive management style and maintain close oversight of project delivery and focus on client relationships. Current work includes a range of stormwater, pumping station, renewals, and infrastructure improvement projects across the region. Act as a technical advisor, providing input and guidance across designs and project delivery. Ensure high-quality, cost-effective outcomes and consistency across deliverables. Lead interdisciplinary teams and provide governance on projects. Contribute to the overall AECOM water infrastructure strategy across New Zealand. Qualifications The qualities that help you thrive Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering (or equivalent) Strong focus on project delivery, client relationships, and team leadership. Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and confidently to clients and stakeholders. Skilled in client management and maintaining professionalism Strong technical delivery background, ensuring quality outcomes and practical engineering solutions. Established client network and trusted relationships, demonstrating the ability to win work and lead successful delivery teams.
