Job Title: Wealth Management Associate (Trainee Advisor) Location: Hybrid – WFH and Bank, LondonReports to: Managing Director & Practice ManagerSalary Expectation: £25-35k (Commission Based) OverviewWe are currently recruiting for a Wealth Management Associate to work directly underneath the Managing Director. The purpose of this role is to provide support and learn from an experienced adviser at a highly successful Wealth Management firm based in Bank. The successful candidate will carry out a variety of tasks to assist with the smooth running of their administration, business submission and lead generation. Costs of becoming qualified will be covered. Likely time frame for advising is 18-24 months, potentially earlier for those that excel. During that time the candidate will be attached to a successful advisor to shadow and support in all areas of his business to learn first-hand and prepare for eventually running your own client bank. Once you have completed the program, you will have an uncapped earnings opportunity and the ability to build your own client base with lots of support.Key Responsibilities of the JobPreparing advice documentation. Ensuring all documents are appropriately personalised, accurate and comply with our organisation standardsProduce cash flow models and reportsBusiness case submissionManaging client actions using Salesforce & Outlook task systemMeeting pack preparationLead Generation – Mixture of LinkedIn, calling and client referrals - Training provided although previous experience highly desiredAttend meetings to observe first-handSending and chasing letters of authorityRequirements to be successful at the Job·      Highly motivated, with a great work ethic   Excellent communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesCommitted to delivering first-class serviceExtremely organised with the ability to multi-task whilst maintaining strong attention to detailResilient personalityAccountable for own actionsDiscrete and professional in all communicationStrong emotional intelligenceAdaptable and flexible      Self-motivated and willing to work at times in isolation and as part of a wider teamMust be comfortable being self-accountable and relying on performance to generate income Additional InformationThis is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in Wealth Management and learn the job first-hand from a successful adviser in a successful firm. However, the role will be testing at times and is not a 9-5 role. Hours can change dependant on the time of year and how busy the adviser is, and at times the workload can be intense and then quieter at other points in the year.Furthermore, the candidate must be comfortable relying on their own skills to hit targets to supplement their salary. Lead generation is an important aspect of the role and will significantly benefit the candidate in the future when it comes to advising and building their own client bank.This is very much a role where you will get back the effort that you put in.
