As a member of our team, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our website, as well as administering our Learning Management System (LMS).Jobs Responsibilities:Website Management:* Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch using modern best practices* Create and maintain WordPress plugins utilizing hooks, filters, and action systems* Build responsive, mobile-first designs using Tailwind CSS framework* Develop interactive user interfaces with Vue.js or React.js* Write clean, object-oriented PHP code following PSR standards* Implement custom post types, meta boxes, and advanced custom fields* Integrate and consume RESTful APIs and work with WordPress REST API* Optimize WordPress sites for performance, security, and SEO* Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards* Work with MySQL databases, optimize queries, and implement data validation* Customize WordPress admin interfaces and develop Gutenberg blocks* Implement modern JavaScript (ES6+) and CSS3 features* Troubleshoot and debug complex WordPress and PHP applications* Collaborate with design teams to translate mockups into functional websites* Maintain code quality through version control and testing practicesLearning Management System (LMS) Management:* Administer and maintain RKY Careers' Learning Management System (LMS), including user management, course enrollment, and content updates.* Customize and configure the LMS to meet the organization's training needs and objectives.* Provide technical support and training to users on LMS functionality and features.Portfolio Building:* Collaborating with our design and content teams to showcase our projects and achievements effectively on our website.* Creating students portfolios.Technical Support:* Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support related to website and LMS issues.* Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot technical problems in a timely manner.* Collaborate with IT and external vendors as needed to address technical issues and implement solutions.Documentation and Training:* Develop and maintain documentation for website and LMS processes, procedures, and best practices.* Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on website and LMS usage, functionality, and updates.Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.* Proven experience in website development and management, preferably using WordPress or similar CMS platforms.* Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard.* Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages and frameworks.* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
