Job DescriptionAs a Web Specialist, you will provide services to an Upwork Managed Services client who is a global leader in the power technologies industry. You will be responsible for managing and enhancing external web and intranet platforms, ensuring usability, accessibility, and alignment with strategic goals. This role involves supporting technical activities, driving projects from concept to implementation, and continuously improving the effectiveness of web content. Key Responsibilities Implement updates on the web and intranet in line with overall strategy. Regularly update and maintain content to ensure usability, accessibility, and effectiveness for customers and markets. Coordinate and support technical web activities, ensuring smooth execution. Lead web projects from conceptualization through implementation and ongoing maintenance. Support the web release management lifecycle, including testing and quality assurance. Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather content and requirements, developing best-in-class sections for the web and intranet. Support SEO and analytics initiatives to improve visibility and performance. Share knowledge and updates on new web and intranet enhancements across the organization. Collaborate with Business Web Managers, Country/Region Web Managers, and internal teams to deliver a strong digital experience. Take ownership of priorities, setting and meeting targets independently. Stay ahead of evolving trends in SEO, analytics, and digital technology, adapting with creativity and problem-solving. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. At least 5 years of CMS experience (including web usability, analytics, SEO, etc.). Strong knowledge of UX/UI principles. Thorough knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and analytics. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft office applications. Knowledge of marketing automation tools is a plus. Knowledge in graphic design and image editing applications (e.g., Photoshop). Knowledge of HTML is helpful but not required. B2B communications experience with a strong understanding of business objectives. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively at all levels. Reliable, with a strong commitment to speed and quality. Fluent in written and spoken English. Working Hours Available to work up to 20 hours per week. Willing to work during European time zone hours, between 1PM - 5PM CET Time.
