In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native solutions on AWS. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to manage containerized environments, implement CI/CD automation, and ensure high availability of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
This role also involves mentoring junior team members and fostering a DevOps culture across projects. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Architecture & DevelopmentDesign and develop robust AWS-based serverless and containerized applications using services like Lambda, ECS, and EKSDevelop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CDKCreate secure and cost-optimized solutions that adhere to cloud best practices. CI/CD Automation & DeploymentSet up, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCDAutomate release workflows and infrastructure provisioning to accelerate development cycles.
Monitoring & ObservabilityImplement observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or Dynatrace to monitor application and infrastructure healthAnalyze system performance metrics and troubleshoot issues proactively. Collaboration & MentorshipCollaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver production-grade solutionsParticipate in code reviews, architecture reviews, and mentor junior engineers. Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical ExpertiseStrong experience with modern programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, or GoDeep knowledge of AWS Serverless technologies and managed database services like Amazon RDS and DynamoDBSolid hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS EKS/ECS, or OpenShift.
Tool ProficiencyExpertise in developer tools such as Git, Jira, and ConfluenceProficient in Terraform or AWS CDK for IaCFamiliarity with Secrets Management tools like HashiCorp Vault. Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skillsAbility to take ownership, drive initiatives, and mentor team members.
