Kimco Staffing is hiring for a Welder/ Fabricator in Ontario!Position: Welder/ Fabricator ( MIG) Days: Monday – Friday with Sat as needed Hours: 6:00 am – 2:30 pmPay:$20.00- $21.50 DOETemp to hireJob duties: Read prints and fabricate square, dimensionally accurate frames, shelves, and caster plates. · Prep, fit, and tack A36 tube/angle/plate; verify squareness/flatness before final weld.Run short?circuit and spray transfer MIG with C25 on ER70S?6 (0.035" typical); multi?pass on >1/4". Weld gussets and reinforce caster plates (primary stress points).Grind, de?spatter, break edges; drill/slot as needed; install casters, handles, tie?downs. Perform in?process QA (fillet size, visual standards, basic bend/break samples). Keep jigs/fixtures accurate; maintain consumables and basic machine settings. Follow safety procedures (OSHA 29 CFR 1910) and good housekeeping (5S). Must?Have Qualifications 3+ years MIG fabrication on mild steel production weldments. Able to hold ±1/16" on critical dims and ?1/8" diagonal out?of?square on frames. Proficient with tape, square, levels, clamps, magnetic squares, fillet gauges.Read shop drawings; convert from cut list to fit?up without hand?holding.Knowledge of heat input & distortion control (stitch, back?step, opposing passes).
