Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components using various welding techniques and equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirementsSelect appropriate welding equipment and techniques based on project specificationsCut, shape, and form metal materials using various tools and machineryPerform welding operations using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniquesAssemble metal components and structures according to specificationsInspect completed welds for quality and structural integrityMaintain welding equipment and work area to ensure safety and efficiencyCollaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specificationsAdhere to all safety regulations and procedures in the workshopQualificationsExtensive welding and fabricating experienceLevel 3 NVQ In Welding/Metal FabricationAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
