Welding Engineer

We are looking for a ‘’Welding Engineer’’ for our company which operates in Electrical Vehicles and Railway Systems industry.QualificationsUniversity degree in the fields of Mechanical or Metallurgical and Materials EngineeringHaving International Welding Engineering Certificate (IWE)At least 3 years of experience in the fields of Quality and Welding Departments (preferably in the Railway Systems or Automotive Industry)Have knowledge of IATF 16949, OHSAS 18001, ISO 4500, VDA 6.3 and 6.5Have knowledge of the process with EN ISO 3834-2 & EN 15085 StandardsPreferably experienced in the field of spot welding and robotic gas metal arc weldingHave knowledge and experience in destructive and non-destructive testing (with NDT certificates)Experienced in laboratory testing, welder testing and certificationHave knowledge of quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis, 8D, FMEA, Deviation Management, Problem Solving TechniquesAble to establish strong communication with internal and external partnersProne to teamworkFluent in EnglishKnowledge of MS Office and preferably SAPNot related to military service for male candidatesLiving in or able to live in AnkaraJOB DESCRIPTIONDocumenting and reporting welding processes in accordance with standards (EN 15085/ EN ISO 3834) and customer specificationsOrganizing the determination of process parameters, verification of the process at the beginning of production and validation required by the welding operations performed in the welding schoolDetermining special quality requirements according to customer requests and carrying out necessary studies for commissioningPrepare welding procedures and necessary documentsSupervising the production, control and shipment of suppliers in accordance with the specificationsPerforming internal and supplier auditsLeading customer auditsPreparing and presenting the quality subjects at customer meetings, when necessaryTo hold periodic quality meetings with the customerMaking periodic meetings with the customers
