Job Title: Wellness CoordinatorLocation: AWA Davie (On-Site)Employment Type: Part-TimeSchedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–8:00 PMAbout The RoleThe Wellness Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring daily operations at Adolescent Wellness Academy (AWA) run smoothly, safely, and in alignment with our mission of supporting adolescents and families through intensive mental wellness care. This individual acts as a bridge between our clinical team, clients, and families—helping ensure structure, safety, and consistent support throughout the day.We are currently hiring for multiple Wellness Coordinator positions to support our part-time programming needs.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide structured support to adolescents ages 13–17 participating in PHP and IOP servicesMonitor and ensure safety throughout programming, including during transitions and breaksCollaborate with the clinical team to implement therapeutic schedules and activitiesGreet and support families during arrival and pickup, creating a warm, professional, and responsive front desk environmentManage front desk responsibilities, including answering phones, coordinating sign-in/sign-out processes, and assisting with daily attendance trackingSupport daily wellness check-ins, documentation, and real-time communication with leadershipRespond calmly and professionally to escalated behaviors and follow crisis protocol as neededAssist with administrative and clerical tasks such as filing, organizing supplies, preparing materials for sessions, and data entryMaintain facility tidiness and help coordinate light operational needs to support smooth program flowParticipate in weekly team meetings and trainings to ensure alignment with treatment goalsQualificationsExperience working with adolescents in a school, clinical, or community-based setting is strongly preferredIdeal candidates may be current or recent students in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling programsStrong customer service skills and emotional intelligence, especially when interacting with parentsExcellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong ability to multitask and stay composed in a busy environmentSpanish-speaking is a huge plus, though not requiredMust be comfortable working in-person and as part of a collaborative teamWhy AWA?At AWA, our Wellness Coordinators are more than support staff—they are an integral part of our care team.
