DescriptionVelobiotics is a Probiotics Health and Wellness company based in Johannesburg with a wide range of products that help promote gut health.We are currently looking for a Pharmacy & Health shop Sales Rep with excellent selling skills to promote our products in Cape Town and Surrounding areas.1. Job Title – Western Cape - Pharmacy Representative2. Based – Cape Town, Western Cape3. Reports To – General Manager / Sales ManagerJob Purpose Summary – To promote Company’s Brands and Unique Selling proposition to designated Customers and Designated Territory.Duties and TasksTraining – Induction and Continuous Training1. Induction training into the Velobiotics – Achieve > 85% on the initial training for Systems, Product & Therapeutic area Knowledge and Selling Skills2. Perform Quarterly Training and Tests and attain at least 80% test score in these three areas3. Product knowledge of the allocated products in their form, formulation, use and benefits to the targeted customers.4. Have a good understanding of the Therapeutic Area and Pharmacy Conditions in which the products are utilised.5. Learn, implement and demonstrate Competence in both Basic and Advance Selling Skills in the Pharmaceutical Industry.Monthly Sales Revenue Targets1) Meet Sales Targets for Territory as Identified2) Meet Sales Targets for Customers identified and keep record for ease of follow-up Sales Calls – Coverage and Frequency1) Customer knowledge & targeting in the allocated territory including their demographic data, needs relevant to company’s product portfolio, and any other relevant information that will assist in promoting the company’s product portfolio.2) Call KPIs as laid out (See KRA and KPIs below)o Total Calls &Call Rate per Montho Call Schedule Rates Per montho Call Coverage3) Call on customers within the allocated territory and make a detailed report on each visit as per the company’s Electronic Sales and Territory Management system4) Carry out promotional campaigns within the allocated territory as outlined in the marketing plan and within the confines of the marketing strategy of the product(s).Qualification1) Post matric & Basic Diploma in Sales and Market2) Previous Experience in Health/Pharmacy Sales for OTC (Over the Counter) products3) Confident, astute and willing to work under pressure4) Demonstrate knowledge, skill and application for selling in the Health and Wellness industry.5) MUST HAVE OWN CARExperience1. Conduct oneself in an ethical way in the approach to the customer, Pharmacy and product information given, and general conduct with the customer.2. Uphold Company values that reflect honesty, responsibility, reliability and dependability to the customers.3. Utilise and manage company’s resources in an efficient and responsible manner.4. Uphold non-disclosure of Company’s strategies, plans, tactics, product information, pricing structure, finances and any information that may be relevant to our direct competitors in the market place.5. Customer knowledge & targeting in the allocated territory including their demographic data, needs relevant to company’s product portfolio, and any other relevant information that will assist in promoting the company’s product portfolio.6.
