Job Summary: This position is part of a small multi-disciplinary Team responsible for Saltwater Disposal (SWD) in the Permian Basin of West Texas. The primary focus of this position will be supporting Geoscientists and Engineers with their data needs. Candidate will load and integrate various geological and engineering data such as LAS and production/ injection data to support an active drilling program. Qualifications:
A minimum of Seven (7) years relevant experience working as a full-time GeotechSelf-motivated problem solver who is proficient at integrating data and working with databasesRecent experience utilizing Petra geological (IHS) and Spotfire data analytics softwareFamiliarity and experience working with at least basic functionality in ArcMap a plus, including importing, manipulating, and exporting GIS data in a variety of formats.
Familiarity with accessing, extracting, and working with IHS (S&P Global), TGS, Enverus, Tobin, and Texas Railroad Commission data a plusGood working knowledge of basic geology, geophysics and petrophysicsExperience monitoring and understanding oil, gas or SWD drilling operationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) proficiencyMust have strong customer focus and enjoy working in a fast-moving team environment focused on evaluating data, executing SWD’s and logical growth. Responsibilities: Maintain Petra and Spotfire databases & generate products to Team specificationsAssist Geoscientists in generating SWD drilling inventory for an active annual drilling program.

Monday-Thursday are 9 hours and Fridays are 4 hours. May require brief after-hours data uploading during active drilling operations
