We are seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner (permanent full time) to be the critical link between financial data and strategic business decisions. In this key role, you will be the "face" of finance, partnering closely with business units to provide insight, analysis, and education that support informed decision-making. You will be responsible for turning the official numbers into actionable intelligence, connecting monthly financial results to forecasting, strategic planning, integrated budgeting, asset management, and commercial project work.
Responsibilities IncludeBuilding strong working relationships across operational teams to influence outcomes and drive performance. Providing financial insights, analysis, and education to support strategic and day-to-day decisions. Supporting monthly result interpretation and contributing to accurate forecasting and planning. Playing a key role in improving financial control, efficiency, and process robustness. Assisting with risk management, governance compliance, and transactional accuracy in collaboration with the finance processing team. Evaluating new business cases and contributing to special projects. Skills And ExperienceProven experience in a management accounting / similar business partnering / finance position with competence to deliver advice to senior levels within a large organisation.
A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field is essential. Strong technical accounting skills supported by an appropriate qualification (ideally CA). Strong analytical skills along with great attention to detail and well-developed financial acumen. A desire to add value through the provision of robust financial information, analysis and reporting. Any prior knowledge of the dairy industry, manufacturing environments, supply chain would be an advantage. Exceptional communication, relationship management and influencing skills together with a proactive and "can-do" approach. A familiarity with ERP systems and the ability to maximise system functionality.
