Explore concepts such as divergent thought, design, collaboration, customer journey mapping and transformation. We are offering a permanent graduate position on a tailored programme which has been designed with future leaders in mind. ?Our current programme is based in Auckland and will run for approximately 12 months.

You’ll start with us as a permanent employee in February 2026 on an immersive orientation which will help grow your understanding of Westpac NZ along with the wider grad cohort. At the end of your programme, you’ll be supported to find a suitable role that matches your capabilities and interests within your business area. ??Throughout the programme: ?We’ll provide loads of learning and support to help you make the most of the experience. You’ll receive lots of opportunities for learning and growth that will optimise your role performance and career progression.

Product and Marketing Champions, leaders and mentors will support you during the programme experience. The programme is structured to help you identify your focus areas. Tailored training sessions build and strengthen your technical and soft skills - accelerating your personal and professional career development. To help you to learn about different parts of your business area, you’ll complete two rotations while on the programme, across the various teams that make up our Product and Marketing team function. ?The day to day:

?Our Product and Marketing teams work with one another and teams throughout Westpac to deliver complete solutions for our customers across our product groups. Securing a position at Westpac is a great place to kick start your banking career. Expect to contribute from day one and have an impact on the business. Working across a broad network of stakeholders, we develop relationships, build trust and help solve problems. You will learn how to collaborate and utilise your analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver the best outcome for the business.

You will gain exposure to a project, based on a real business problem which you will propose and/or implement a solution and present to key stakeholders. ?u P?kenga | About YouTo be eligible, you must be in your final year of study or have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree within the past 12 months. Our Graduate opportunities are entry level roles giving those on the programme broad exposure across the relevant business unit. Additionally, applicants must be New Zealand or Australian citizens or permanent residents.
