They are growing their Cape Town capability to deliver world-class workforce management solutions and scale their operations. As a WFM Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of workforce management technology projects from initiation through to post-implementation support. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and ensure that project scope, timelines, and budgets are met — all while guiding clients through the transition to improved ways of working. Your ability to combine strong project management discipline with an understanding of WFM processes will be key to delivering measurable outcomes for our clients.Location: This is a hybrid role with approx 3-4 days in our office in Cape Town. If you’re applying from another location, please be aware relocation to Cape Town will be required and would need to be arranged personally.Key Responsibilities Include:Lead end-to-end delivery of WFM projects, from planning to implementation and handoverManage project scope, budgets, risks, and timelines, ensuring all deliverables meet client expectationsFacilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with clients and stakeholdersCollaborate with Solution Architechts, SME’s, functional and technical consultants to ensure solutions align with business needs, best practices and meet client requirementsMonitor and report on project progress, escalating risks or issues as requiredBuild strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycleHelp grow our team by contributing to best practices, mentoring colleagues, and supporting internal initiatives that strengthen our delivery capabilityEssential Knowledge and Skills:We are hiring at mid-level for this role so if you already have solid project experience within Workforce Management, we’d love to hear from you. Ideally you will have:Proven experience managing technology or business transformation projects, ideally in WFM, HR, or related systemsStrong understanding of workforce management processes and operational best practiceExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to balance multiple priorities and work effectively under pressureA collaborative, solutions-driven approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomesProject management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile) would be advantageousQualifications & ExperienceBCom in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Industrial Psychology or Human Resource Management, (or equivalent experience).Proven experience managing technology or business transformation projects, ideally in workforce management, HRIS, or operational systemsSolid understanding of workforce management processes and best practice for frontline operationsStrong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage expectations and influence outcomesExperience working in a consulting, technology, or systems integration environment is advantageousWhy Join Us?At Embelo, you’ll work directly with UK founders and senior leaders while leading high-impact international consulting projects in a supportive, close-knit team.
