Job Description
The Wholesale Manager will be responsible for driving and managing the wholesale strategy across all relevant categories (fashion, home, beauty, sportswear, and luggage). The role will focus on developing new partnerships, managing existing wholesale accounts, and expanding the business footprint across the GCC markets.This role requires a commercially driven individual with strong industry connections, negotiation skills, and the ability to work across diverse brand categories and market segments.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & SalesDevelop and execute a comprehensive wholesale strategy aligned with brand positioning and Liwa’s growth objectives.Identify and onboard new wholesale partners across GCC — including department stores, specialty retailers, hotels, fitness clubs, and e-commerce platforms.Drive sales growth through effective account management, new business acquisition, and category expansion.Prepare and deliver brand presentations, seasonal product line reviews, and commercial proposals to potential partners.Account ManagementManage and nurture relationships with key wholesale clients to maximize sell-through and profitability.Collaborate with brand and merchandising teams to define product assortments and pricing strategies tailored to each market.Monitor customer performance, resolve operational challenges, and ensure brand standards are maintained across wholesale partners.Market Expansion & Brand DevelopmentSupport the introduction of Liwa’s brands into new GCC markets through relevant wholesale channels.Identify and evaluate opportunities for cross-category distribution (e.g., Dwell and Panier des Sens to hotels; Castore to fitness clubs).Work closely with marketing and visual merchandising teams to ensure brand visibility and compliance with global guidelines.Commercial ManagementDevelop and manage annual sales budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and trade agreements in line with brand and business objectives.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to identify growth opportunities.Cross-Functional CollaborationCoordinate with brand managers, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and payment cycles.Provide market feedback to buying and product development teams to refine assortments and pricing.Candidate ProfileEducation & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.7–10 years of experience in wholesale sales or distribution within fashion, home, or beauty categories (GCC experience required).Proven track record of developing and managing wholesale accounts across multiple countries and retail formats.Skills & Attributes:Strong network and relationships within the GCC retail and hospitality sectors.Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.Commercially astute with strong analytical and financial acumen.Ability to manage multiple brands and categories simultaneously.Entrepreneurial mindset, results-oriented, and proactive in identifying new opportunities.Willingness to travel across GCC markets.
