We’re looking for a motivated Graduate or Junior Android Developer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term project that may be converted to permanent. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about mobile development and eager to grow their skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll be supporting a range of Android projects and learning the mobile app development lifecycle from design to deployment. In addition to developing your Android expertise, there will be opportunities to gain exposure to other technologies including C#, Python, JavaScript, and web programming. Familiarity with C is a bonus.

An interest or background in automation testing will also be highly regarded, as we continue to improve the quality and reliability of our development process. Role responsibilities: Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Android applications. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality software. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code under the guidance of senior developers. Participate in code reviews and actively seek feedback to improve. Support QA processes and learn about automated testing (if applicable). Contribute to occasional C# tooling tasks or Python scripting as learning opportunities arise. Experience / Skills required:

Must-Have: Some experience or exposure to Android development (university projects, internships, or personal apps using Kotlin and/or Java). Understanding of the mobile development lifecycle. Familiarity with REST APIs and Android SDK. Awareness of software development best practices (version control, CI/CD, etc. ). Nice to Have: Exposure to C# or object-oriented programming. Basic web development experience with JavaScript or general web programming. Python programming knowledge. Introductory experience with C. Interest or background in automation testing or QA automation frameworks. Familiarity with tools like SVN, Git, Jira, Jenkins, or similar.
