Our work ensures that Board Intelligence product suite is efficient, scalable, and capable of adapting to changing customer needs.This role offers full-time working based in our Central Stockholm office.The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Windows App Engineer to join our dynamic Mobile Team. Your primary responsibility will be to help evolve and stabilise our UWP-based application by improving test coverage, adding new features, and ensuring high-quality accessible user experience. You’ll be working closely with cross-functional teams, including QA, Product, Design, and Support, to deliver a secure and user-focused application that interacts with backend systems via APIs.What will you be responsible for?Develop new features and maintain existing functionality in a UWP applicationImprove test coverage and application stability (unit and integration testing)Implement responsive, accessible UI based on designsDebug, refactor, and resolve issues as they ariseCollaborate with QA to ensure all features are fully testedParticipate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussionsSupport planning and estimation during sprint ceremoniesDocument complex flows and technical decisions for future maintenanceHelp maintain and improve GitHub CI pipelinesOccasionally present technical decisions or updates to non-technical stakeholdersTech StackLanguages/Frameworks: C#, .NET, UWP (experience in WPF or WinUI is a plus)Testing: MSTestDatabase: SQLiteTools: Visual Studio 2022, Jira, GitHub, GitHub Workflows, Microsoft TeamsAI Assistants: GitHub Copilot, Claude CodeRequirementsWe’re looking for someone that has a hunger to change our working environment for the better, driving performance from our people and protecting our culture and values to make sure we remain a caring, entrepreneurial and client-first workplace.RoleWe’re open-minded on the background someone may have coming into this role, but things that could help a candidate to be successful would be:Proven experience building Windows mobile apps, ideally with UWP or WinUIComfortable with fullstack development in a Windows environmentFamiliarity with modern UI design and accessibility best practicesAbility to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges independentlyStrong team player with a collaborative mindsetAgile Culture: Daily standups, regular sprint planning and refinement sessionsClear and confident communicator, able to explain technical concepts to various audiencesInterest in continuous improvement, new technologies, and scalable architectureIt Could Also Be Nice To HaveExperience with WinUI3 migration projectsPrevious contribution to CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with Agile development and ceremoniesPrior experience supporting high-traffic or user-facing applicationsBenefitsWe pride ourselves on our great working environment and package.
