Set among 1,300 acres of ancient forest, rolling meadows and pristine Lakeland, this resort offers wonderful accommodation, healthy and delicious cuisine whether it be in our two restaurants or casual dining in our bar. We operate an 18-hole Jeff Howes designed Golf Course, 10Km of ancient woodlands & superb award-winning health spa’s facilities. In our newly renovated Ballroom, few settings for Cavan weddings are as romantic or beautiful as Farnham Estate. Role/ResponsibilitiesThis is a hands-on role which will require you to deliver the highest standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel.

Deliver guest service in the Accommodation and Public Area's Department, ensuring the agreed standards are achieved at all times. Assign and inspect rooms to the agreed standards. Identify and support training needs. Ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of your department product, in addition to being aware of the total hotel facilities. To both lead and work as part of the team and manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures. To be knowledgeable of cleaning products and ensure team members are trained on same.

To attend training sessions and hotel and departmental meetings as required, ensuring effective communication at all levels. To comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health and Safety, Fire, Hygiene, Licensing and Employment. To report and/or take appropriate action on all maintenance issues as they arise. To report accidents/incident.
