We are currently working on broad range of exciting projects and as a result we are on the lookout for a design-driven Intermediate Architect or Architectural Graduate to join our Tauranga studio and be part of our wider team. Whether you're an experienced professional or early in your career, if you thrive in a collaborative environment, are passionate about sustainability, and enjoy being hands-on across all stages of the design process, we’d love to hear from you. What we’re looking for:
An Intermediate Architect or Architectural Graduate with 5+ years’ experience (we're open to less for the right person)Strong design thinking skills with a sustainability mindsetSolid documentation skillsProficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Creative SuiteA collaborative mindset and team-first approachWillingness to contribute across all phases of a project, including on-site workClear communication skills and confidence engaging with clients, consultants, and contractorsA hands-on approach to shared office responsibilities - we all pitch in!A keen attitude for learning and growing within the roleWhy Wingates: You’ll be joining a passionate and active studio that’s well-connected to our wider practice.
We have a broad range of exciting projects and are looking to grow our Bay of Plenty/Waikato team. This role is on a contract basis, with the potential to evolve into a full-time salaried position for the right candidate. We understand everyone’s needs are different, whether you're after contract flexibility, seeking to return to work while balancing family life, or interested in growing into a longer-term role, we’re open to shaping the opportunity around you.
