About The RoleWe’re on the lookout for an Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Analyst (FLOD) to support our high-risk customer onboarding and review processes in line with UAE Central Bank (CBUAE) regulatory expectations. In this role, you’ll play a key part in protecting Wio and its customers from financial crime risks. You’ll conduct in-depth EDD reviews, assess Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), support exit strategies for flagged customers, and collaborate closely with Compliance, Business, and Operations teams.

This isn’t just a checklist role — it’s about staying sharp, spotting risks early, and making sure every customer relationship is handled with integrity and precision.

What You’ll Be DoingSupporting the implementation of onboarding and EDD policies, ensuring alignment with CBUAE guidelines and industry best practices Managing end-to-end onboarding for high-risk customers, coordinating every step from first interaction to account activation Performing detailed EDD reviews, validating customer profiles and documents, and escalating any red flags promptly Conducting PEP assessments during onboarding and periodic reviews, ensuring regulatory timelines are met Executing trigger-based and scheduled reviews for existing high-risk customers, managing RFIs efficiently Supporting customer exit strategies, including account closure, blacklist updates, and reporting to CBUAE Preparing periodic MIS and reporting dashboards for senior management visibility Performing risk assessments on new customers based on profile, jurisdiction, ownership, and intended activity Ensuring KYC data is verified, securely stored, and compliant with record retention and data protection standards Collaborating with Fraud, Customer Care, Operations, Technology, and external stakeholders like Regulators and Auditors Identifying process gaps and recommending improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency Staying up to date on regulatory developments and supporting implementation of necessary updates What You’ll NeedBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred) Professional certification in Compliance, AML, or Sanctions (e.

, CAMS, CGSS) is a plus 1–3 years of experience in EDD or onboarding within banking or financial services, ideally in the UAE Strong understanding of CBUAE AML/CFT frameworks, KYC, Sanctions, and due diligence processes Analytical skills to assess complex customer relationships and identify financial crime risks Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus) Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines Proficiency in Excel with experience creating structured MIS reports A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills Why You’ll Love Working at WioWe don’t just build game-changing products — we build careers worth talking about.
